February 16, 2011

Claire Ortega, senior services product manager at NEI, will present “Growing Profitability Using Flexible Remote Service Deployment Models” at the 5th Annual Remote Service Implementation conference, where the session‘s focus will be how to maximize profit gains, utilizing secure solutions for the cloud and virtual appliances in a variable cost model.

NEI (News - Alert) is a provider of server-based application platforms and lifecycle support services for software developers and OEMs worldwide. Using its expertise and comprehensive suite of solution design, system integration, application management, global logistics, support, and maintenance services, NEI is reworking application deployment solutions in order to give customers a huge competitive advantage.

The session will discuss how organizations can increase profits by using flexible methods for deployment within a variable cost model. Ortega will explore uses of the cloud, hardware and virtual appliances to provide long-term flexibility without risking investment by reducing development, operational and support costs for remote monitoring of both legacy and new device deployments, a company release stated.

The IQPC’s (News - Alert) Remote Service Implementation conference is a leading cross-industry remote diagnostics and smart services event for service executives in North America. At this year’s event, industry thought leaders in prognostics, data analytics, services marketing and remote tools will collaborate in order to learn how to best use value-added smart services, as well as begin using feedback about products. Attendees will also learn how to transform data into informed business decisions and reducing costs while continuing to increase product lifecycles.

This event will take place at the Doubletree Hotel San Diego/Del Mar where the remote service implementation will run from Feb. 16-18. Claire Ortega will present on Friday, Feb. 18th, at 11:15 a.m.
