NEI's Appliance Deployment Solution Helps AlertLogic Expand Its Business

December 13, 2011

NEI (News - Alert), a provider of appliance deployment solutions and lifecycle support services for software technology developers and OEMs all over the world has revealed that the company’s solutions have helped AlertLogic scale its business by more than 40 percent in the first year of their partnership.

AlertLogic provides advanced Security-as-a-Service solutions coupled with 24×7 security operations center expertise that allows managed hosting and cloud service providers to defend against security threats and address compliance mandates. The company serves more than half of the world’s largest managed hosting and cloud service providers as well as 1,500+ enterprise customers, company officials said in a press release.

NEI’s appliance deployment platforms and lifecycle support services provide customers with a sustainable competitive advantage. The services offered by NEI include solution design, system integration, application management, global logistics, support, and maintenance services.

“NEI has been a force multiplier for us,” said Chris Tabor, director of service support at Alert Logic, in a statement. “In the past year, Alert Logic has been able to scale business by more than 40 percent. We would not have been able to achieve this level of growth so quickly without NEI’s service and support.”

Alert Logic chose NEI as its appliance deployment partner for its extensive knowledge of the industry. By leveraging its qualified procedures and process, NEI has been able to help dramatically improve time to market for Alert Logic’s appliance solutions.

Additionally, NEI’s appliance deployment capabilities provided the complete flexibility in the way the company manufactures and delivers products. It also provided total transparency of information for improved supply chain efficiencies.

“NEI prides itself on being a valued strategic partner for our customers,” said Jeff Hudgins (News - Alert), vice president of marketing at NEI, in a statement. “For example, our engineers worked closely with Alert Logic to ensure its platforms would be extremely reliable and future-proof, which has resulted in Alert Logic being able to issue numerous new software updates over the past year quickly and easily, without rendering the existing hardware obsolete.”

“As a result of our partnership, Alert Logic is able to focus its efforts on its core competency in delivering the very best security services to customers,” Hudgins added.

Recently, TMCnet reported that NEI launched an improved Web-based customer portal that boasts easy-to-use control and access functionalities that will continue to drive efficiency in any organization.
